The Art of Keum Boo - the complete course

All of the Keum Boo classes in one bundle!

About the Course

The Keum Boo course bundle will take you from your very first steps in Keum Boo and show you all the wonderful techniques that  you can use with it!

Keum Boo is a magical technique, and one that I love to teach as well as use in my own jewellery designs. It is amazing how adding just a touch of gold adds an extra something special to your jewellery, and also amazing how far one sheet of gold foil goes. In this series of classes I've tried to show you as many different ways of using Keum Boo as possible, including ideas for using up all the scrap pieces of gold foil left over from other projects - after all, you don't want to waste any of your precious gold!

More classes will be added to the Keum Boo courses over time. As with all classes on The Jeweller's Bench, once you've enrolled there are no limits to how many times you can watch a class, or for how long you can watch it for!

If you need any extra help as you work your way through the classes do join us over on The Jeweller's Bench Café group over on Facebook - the perfect place to ask for advice and to show off what you've been making.

As more classes are added to the course the price will increase. Buy now and get access to all future classes as well at  the price you pay now!

Tools and Equipment

Each class includes a section explaining the tools and equipment needed to make that project, and also discusses alternatives that may be suitable. In particular, the Golden Butterfly Pendant class includes a discussion of the alternative heat sources that can be used.

If you'd like to find out more about Keum Boo and an extra equipment you may need download the free Keum Boo tools and materials guide. The Jeweller's Bench blog also has some useful posts with Keum Boo tips - find them here!

Some of the classes may look as though they need quite a bit of kit, but do remember that most of the equipment will be used for many different projects, many times over. You will probably find that you have most of the equipment already.

Joanne Tinley

Tutor and Founder of The Jeweller's Bench

The Jeweller's Bench is run by Joanne Tinley. She has been making her own jewellery for as long as she can remember and left her first career as a school teacher to set up business as a  jewellery designer and tutor nearly 20 years ago. She is self-taught and like many people started with wire and beads. Learning how to solder, however, opened up a whole new world of jewellery making,  one that she is keen to share!
