About the Tutorial
Hollow beads and pendants are a great way to create tactile, large but light pieces of jewellery! In this tutorial book I will teach you four different ways of creating them:
*round lentil beads
*open-sided beads
*closed boxes
*hydraulic pressed forms made using my own range of silhouette dies
I know that once you've made your first few beads you'll be hooked! I love making them! I use them on their own to create simple, elegant pendants and earrings, but also love to add stone settings and half-drilled beads. They can be given lovely textures but are just as lovely left smooth and polished.
Previous experience of soldering and sawing is assumed. If you have not soldered before, however, I do recommend that you download a copy of my “Introduction to Soldering” ebook (click here). Please do make sure that read the section on soldering safety before starting any of the hollow forms projects - safety first!
